Grape Jam

Ingredients
Black grapes, 1 kilogram
Raw sugar, 600 grams
Lemon essence, to the taste

Preparation
Wash the grapes, get rid of the seeds and place the grapes in a recipient. Add in the sugar and stir. Place the mixture into a casserole and cook over high heat. Stir continuously so that it does not stick to the bottom or burn. Once it thickens, take a little out of the casserole and place it on a plate let it cool and tilt the plate, if the jam take awhile to slip off the plate it’s ready, if it slips right off it needs to cook a little longer. Once it is ready take it off the heat and add in the lemon essence. Stir and put in sterilized jars that hermetically close. Keep in the refrigerator.
