Grand Marnier Ice Cream

Ingredients
3 oranges (juice only)
50 ml milk cream
250 ml Grand Marnier liquor

English Cream
4 egg yolks
500 ml milk
175 gr sugar
1 tspn vanilla

Preparation

  1. Boil the milk
  2. Beat the egg yolks with the sugar and vanilla. Add the hot milk and mix using an electric beater. Heat at low flame with out it boiling until it thickens. Place the pot in pan filled with cold water for it to cool quickly.
  3. Strain the orange juice and add to the English cream along with the liquor.
  4. Beat the milk cream and add to the mix.
  5. Once the cream forms s smooth texture place in a mold and refrigerate.
