Gooseberry Sherbet
Ingredients 750 gr gooseberries 1 orange (juice only) 1 lemon (juice only) 350 gr sugar 1 egg white
Preparation
- Wash and strain the gooseberries. Mash them well making a pulp and sift them.
- Mix the sugar and gooseberry pulp, add the lemon and orange juice. Refrigerate.
- When the sherbet starts to harden beat the egg white until it hardens and add to the mix, refrigerate again until ready.
