Flan for Vanilla Ice Cream Dessert Recipe

Ingredients of Dessert
8 egg yokes
1¼ cups of sugar
4 cups of milk
2 cups of light cream
2 teaspoons of vanilla

Preparation of Recipe

  1. Whip the egg yokes and sugar till fluffy.
  2. Put the milk and cream in a recipient and put to boil.  Withdraw the recipient from the stove; and pour little by little the milk mix into the whipped eggs, and whip at a low speed.
  3. Return all into the recipient and cook on a low flame, moving constantly till the mixture covers the back of the spoon.  Withdraw from the fire and empty the recipient into a plate over ice to lower the temperature of the mix to an environment temperature.
  4. Add the vanilla and mix.  Empty the flan into an automatic ice cream maker and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

 

  • Chocolate Ice Cream: If you wish, reduce the amount of sugar to ¾ of a cup and when the flan cools off, stir 315 grams of dark chocolate or milk chocolate.  Melted and warm.  Continue with steps of the basic recipe.
  • Peach Ice Cream Dessert Recipe:  Buy 1 can (850 grams) of peaches, mash them up and mix them with the already cooled off flan. Continue with steps of the basic recipe.
