Fire and Ice

  • For: 4 servings
  • Time: 60 minutes

 

Ingredients:
2 golden apples
25 grs butter
100 ml cider
4 vanilla ice cream balls
2 nuts
4 tbsps sugar

Preparation:

  1. Wash the apples, remove the core and place them in a tray.
  2. Make a circular cut on the top of each apple.
  3. Put a tbsp of sugar and a butter ball on the inside of each apple. Pour the cider on top
  4. Place into a very hot oven for 30-40 minutes.
  5. Once baked, some of the pulp will come out of the circled cut, when these are baked remove the skin from this area and serve very hot.
  6. Pour a little more cider or water on the tray in which the apples were baked and pour them on the sides of the apples.
  7. Place an ice cream ball on top of each apple and place ½ a nut.
