Curative properties
Acidity: drink the infusion or the brew, one cup before each meal.
Asthma: drink the infusion.
Teeth whitening: rub the exposed part of the root against the teeth.
Lowering blood pressure: drink the infusion.
Caries: rub the leaves against the teeth.
Colic: drink the infusion or the brew, one cup after each meal.
Digestive: drink the infusion or the brew, one cup after each meal.
Fever: drink the infusion or the brew.
Worms and intestinal parasites: drink the infusion.
Menstrual problems: regulates menstruation. Drink the brew from the root.
Flu: drink the infusion or the brew.
Rheumatism: drink the infusion.
Preparation
Brew: boil in low temperature 10 to 30g of leaves and roots per liter of water, between 15 to 30 minutes. Turn it off, let stand a few minutes and strain.
Infusion: heat up a liter of water and once it has boiled, add 10 to 30g of leaves. Remove from heat. Cover container and let stand 5 to 10 minutes. Strain and serve.
Precaution In case of pregnancy or nursing, do not use without medical supervision. No side effects are known.
