Dry Fruit Tart Recipe

Ingredients
2 cups of flour
1-2 tablespoons of sugar
165 grams of butter, in pieces
1 egg yoke
2-3 tablespoons of cold water
500 grams of different berries

Mascarpone Filling Recipe
500 grams of mascarpone (double cream cheese)
¾ cup of orange juice
¼ cup of Cointreau (orange liquor)
1 teaspoon of finely grated orange peel
2 tablespoons of glazed sugar

Glazed Strawberry Fruit
¼ cup of strawberry jelly
½ cup of orange juice
2 tablespoons of Jello-O powder

Preparation

  1. Whip together the flour, sugar, and butter until you obtain a sandy mixture. While you whip add the egg yoke and enough cold water to make decent dough.
  2. Roll it down and cover a mold, (23x23 cm) cover the dough with butter paper and on that place grains of rice, beans or corn. Bake for 10-15 minutes; and then take out the beans and paper and bake for another 5-10 minutes or until its cooked. Take out of the oven and let it cool.
  3. Filling: Place the cheese, juice, orange peels, liquor and sugar in a bowl and whip for about 30 seconds.
  4. Fill the crust with the filling and distribute the fruit on top.
  5. Glaze: Place the strawberry jam and orange juice in a pot, and sprinkle the Jell-O no it and let it cook on a low flame until it dissolves. Withdraw form the fire and let it cool off a bit, then spread the fruit over the tart.
