Chocolate covered Crispy Cookies Recipe
Ingredients 45 grams of butter 2 tablespoons of honey ¼ cup of brown sugar ¼ cup of ground ginger 45 grams of sliced up almonds 30 grams of preserved cherries 1 tablespoon of finely grated lemon or orange peel 100 grams of dark chocolate, melted
Preparation of Recipe
- Place the butter, the honey and sugar in a pot on the fire, and once it starts boiling withdraw from the stove and let it cool for 5 minutes. Mix the flour mixture with the almonds, cherry and warm butter extremely well. Pour spoonfuls of this dough separated from each other an 8 cm distance on a pan covered in butter paper. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the cookies are brown and crispy then let them cool for 2 minutes in the pan, before picking them up carefully with a spatula for them to completely cool on a grid.
