Cream Coffee Pie
Ingredients 1 ½ cups of crushed toasted bread ½ cups of melted butter
Filling 1 teaspoon of gelatin ¼ cup of hot water 1 cup of black coffee 1 teaspoon of vanilla 3 eggs yolks ½ cup of sugar Whip cream 3 eggs whites
Preparation
- Mix the toasted crushed bread with butter, put the mix on the pan creating a pie crust, refrigerate for 20 minutes.
- Dissolve the gelatin in hot water, beat until it cools down, and add the eggs yolks, sugar coffee and vanilla beat until obtaining a creamy substance. Cook in a double sauce pan until it thickens
- Beat egg whites, gradually go adding sugar, and beat until they turn snow white
- Mix gelatin cream with egg whites. Pour the cream over the refrigerate pie crust and refrigerate for 2 hours.
