Ingredients
2 cup of flour
2 teaspoons of baking powder
125 grs of butter
2 teaspoons of sugar
1 pre beaten egg
3 teaspoons of milk
2 teaspoons of water
Filling
2 teaspoons of flour
4 teaspoons of sugar
1 teaspoon of grated lemon peel
600 grs of cranberries
2 teaspoons of orange juice
Preparation
- With an electric beater, mix flour, sugar, butter, gradually add egg and milk beat until obtaining a smooth dough, refrigerate the dough for 1 hour before using.
- In a small pot cook cornstarch, glazed sugar, orange juice, mix all the ingredients gradually add cranberries, let it boil for 5 minutes until cranberries are tender, let the filling cool down.
- Pre heat oven at 180c butter pan with butter or oil, spread dough on the butter pan, pour the cranberry sauce on the pie crust, cover the pie with the let over dough, bake pie for 45 minutes.
- Let the pie cool down before serving.
