Coffee Liquors

Coffee Liquors

There are two main types of liquors made with coffee: Kahlua and Tia Maria. The first has a Mexican origin whereas the second comes from Jamaica, but the methods used for their fabrication constitute in a very well kept secret. Both of these can be used to prepare a variety of different cocktails and two of the best are Black Russian and Alexander Brandy.

Black Russian: Mix two parts of vodka with one part of coffee liquor and put ice cubes in a cup. Serve into the cup and add coca cola to fill up the rest of the cup.

Alexander Brandy: In a cocktail mixer place one part of cream, one part of coffee liquor and one part of brandy along with ice bits. Mix well in the cocktail mixer and strain over a cup.
