Christmas Sweet Bread Recipe

Ingredients
30 grs yeast
ΒΌ of cup warm water
2 teaspoons of flour
250 grs flour
100 grs butter
50 grs sugar
Grated lemon peel
1 egg
Warm milk

Filling
50 grs chopped nuts
50 grs almonds
100 grs raisins
100 grs of white raisins
100 grs candied fruit

Preparation

  1. In small bowl dissolve yeast, sugar, 2 teaspoon of flour with warm milk, let the mix rise for 15 minutes.
  2. In big bowl mix flour, sugar, butter, grated lemon peel; egg and warm milk mix all the ingredients until obtaining smooth dough, cover the dough with a towel and let it rise for 1 hour.
  3. Add the dry fruit to the dough; knead the dough until all the fruit it’s well mixed.
  4. Bake in the oven for 45 minutes.
