Christmas Roll Recipe

Ingredients
Dough
30 grs yeast
1 teaspoon of sugar to dissolve the yeast
ΒΌ of cup warm milk
500 grs of flour
A pinch of salt
70 grs sugar
2 eggs
1 Teaspoon vanilla
60 grs butter
Warm milk to make the dough

Filling
150 grs dry peach
100 grs prunes
100 grs dry figs
3 teaspoon of sugar
100 grs almonds
1 pre beaten egg
Syrup

Dough Preparation

  1. Dissolve the yeast in warm milk and let it rise for 15 minutes
  2. In big cooking bowl place flour, butter, whip cream grated lemon peel, egg and eggs yolk and the previous diluted yeast use warm milk if needed mix all the ingredients until obtaining smooth workable dough, cover the dough and let rise for 1 hour.

Filling Preparation

  1. Cut the dry fruit in small pieces add sugar, syrup and beat until obtaining a creamy substance.
  2. Spread the dough over a clean table; cover the dough with the dry fruit cream and roll the dough, put the roll over a butter pan and bake for 45 minutes.
