Christmas Bread Recipe

Ingredients
25 grs yeast
Warm milk
250 grs flour
1 egg
Egg yolk
3 teaspoon sugar
Grated lemon peel
100 grs butter
ΒΌ of a cup of milk
40 grs of chopped nuts and almonds
80 grs raisins
1 beaten egg
Glazed sugar

Preparation

  1. Mix yeast with warm milk and let it rise for 15 minutes.
  2. In a big cooking bowl mix flour, egg, egg yolk, sugar grated lemon peel diluted yeast. Mix all the ingredients until obtaining smooth dough incorporated the dry fruit to the dough. Let the dough rise for 2 hours.
  3. Pre heat the oven, butter the pan with butter or oil, and bake the bread for 45 minutes.
