Chocolate Truffles
Ingredients 100 grams of liquid cream 200 grams of bitter chocolate bar 3 tablespoons of rum 3 tablespoons of confectioner’s sugar 1 teaspoon of softened butter ½ teaspoon of cinnamon powder
- Preparation time: 15 minutes
- Cooling time: 3 hours at least
Preparation
- Heat the liquid cream in a pot.
- Chop the chocolate bar.
- Take the pot off the heat and stir in the chocolate until it melts in the hot liquid cream. Then add in the rum, one tablespoon of confectioner’s sugar and the butter.
- Leave the mixture inside the refrigerator for a minimum of three hours.
- After it has sit in the refrigerator, the mixture should have hardened somewhat and the chocolate truffles should be easy to make. Shape 20 cherry size truffles.
- Make a mixture with the confectioner’s sugar and the cinnamon and dip the chocolate truffles in it. Another option is to place the truffle in ground chocolate.
- The chocolate truffles can be kept inside the refrigerator for 3 weeks at most.
