Chocolate Mousse

 

Chocolate Mousse

 

This is one of the most cherished deserts. This desert is an absolute delight. And is also very easy to make.

Ingredients
100 grams of bitter chocolate in tablet,
2 eggs,
4 table spoons of sugar,
30 grams of soft butter,
150 grams of whipped cream or skin milk with out sugar,
For the decoration: chocolate shavings.

  • Preparation time: 25 minutes.
  • Cooling time: at least 2 hours.

Preparation

  1. Tear the chocolate tablet and melt it.
  2. Break the eggs and separate the yokes form the egg white. Put the egg whites inside a bowl and place them in the refrigerator. In a other bowl beat the egg yokes with two teaspoons of sugar and the soft butter until it turns into a thick cream.
  3. Mix the melted chocolate with the thick cream carefully.
  4. Take the egg whites out of the refrigerator and mix it in with the rest of the sugar. Beat the eggs until it becomes stiff. Gently, mix the egg whites with the chocolate.
  5. Add the whipped cream into the chocolate cream and mix. This should complete the process of the mousse. Put the mousse into serving dishes or in a big serving bowl then put in the refrigerator for at least two hours.
  6. If you have decided to present it in one big serving bowl, at the time of serving you will use a deep spoon which you will need to wet first in cold water so that you will be able to fill it with little bits of chocolate mousse on the plate. To decorate you will sprinkle on top of the chocolate mousse shredded chocolate. You can also add on red fruits (strawberries, raspberry, etc.) and some mint leafs.
