Chocolate Cookies
Ingredients 150 grams of butter 125 grams of whole sugar 1 egg 1 packet of vanilla sugar 1 pinch of salt Grated orange peel (half) 150 grams of flour ½ teaspoon of yeast 125 grams of oatmeal 150 grams of liquid chocolate or grated bitter chocolate For the baking tray: wax paper
- Preparation time: 35 minutes
- Baking time: 10 to 12 minutes
Preparation
- Mix the butter in with the sugar. Continue mixing it until the sugar has dissolved. This mixture should end like a thick cream. Then add in the vanilla, salt and the grated orange peel.
- Preheat the oven at 195 degrees Celsius.
- Mix the flour and the yeast together. Then add them into the butter and the sugar. Stir until you obtain a uniform mixture. Add in the oatmeal and the chocolate.
- Place the wax paper over the baking dish. And use a spoon to put the cookie dough over the wax paper. After placing them on the baking dish, flatten them a little with the spoon.
- Place the baking tray in the middle part of the oven and allow the cookies to bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the cookies are golden brown. Then take the baking tray out of the oven and let the cookies cool.
- If the cookies are not going to be eaten right away, store them in a Tupperware container.
