Easy Chocolate Cake Recipe

Ingredients of Cake
1 cup of cocoa powder
1½ cups of boiling water
375 grams of salt less butter
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1½ cup of sugar
4 eggs
2½ cups of flour
½ cup of corn starch
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1 teaspoon of salt
½ cup of thick whipped cream

Chocolate Frosting Recipe
250 grams of butter
1 egg
2 egg yokes
1 cup of sifted glazed sugar
185 grams of dark chocolate melted and warm

As easy as you read this.  This cake recipe cooks itself easily.

Preparation of chocolate cake

  1. Stir the cocoa and water in a bowl, lightly whip it and let it cool off.  Whip the butter and vanilla until it sponges. Go adding the sugar little by little and whip until you have a thick cream. Continue whipping and go adding the eggs one by one.
  2. Sift the flour, corn starch, baking soda and salt together. Alternatively it’s easy to incorporate the flour and cocoa mixture, into the egg one.
  3. Distribute the dough into 3 oiled and floured molds (23 cm. diameter) and bake for 20-25 minutes or until sure it’s well cooked. Let it rest in the mold for 5 minutes then unmold over a metal grill, so the bread will cool entirely.
  4. Chocolate Frosting: Place the butter in a bowl and whip it until it sponges; add the egg, the egg yokes and the glazed sugar. Then add the cooled off melted chocolate and whip until you have a thick frosting.  Join the 3 easy pieces with the whipped cream and cover the sides and surfaces with the chocolate frosting.
