Chestnut Dessert Recipe
Ingredients: ½ kg of chestnuts 300 grs of sugar 1 tsp of vanilla extract
Preparation: Peel the chestnuts and boil them in water for about one hour for them to soften. Strain them and cut them in not too small pieces. Heat a cup of water and the sugar. Remove and cook until you make thick syrup. Add the chestnut and the vanilla extract stirring it and letting it cook for a few minutes.
This dessert is placed in a glass or porcelain container and is left to cool off.
It is served with biscuits or pastries.
