Cherry Biscuit Recipe
Ingredients: 500 grs of cherries 150 grs of milk cream 150 grs of sugar 275 grs of flour 1 small bag of baking soda 5 eggs 4 tbsps of Kirsch 1dl of milk 20 grs of butter
Preparation: Wash the cherries and remove the stems and the cores. Mix the milk cream and the sugar in a bag to make a paste. Strain the flour on the side with the baking soda three egg yolks and two whole eggs stir with a wooden spatula and add the milk and sugar mix slowly and finally the kirsch. Work on the paste until it becomes a homogenous and compact mix. to soften it, add the milk very slowly. Beat the 3 egg whites till stiff and add them to the mix.
Pour 2/3 of the mix into a buttered and powdered mold. Dispersing the cherries on it and then cover it with the rest of the mix. Turn on the oven and graduate to 200 degrees, cook for 45 minutes. To make sure the cooking is done, place a knife with a fine point. It should come out dry.
