Carrot Tart

  • For: 6 servings
  • Time: 90 minutes

Ingredients:
¾ kilo carrots
6 tbsps sugar
3 tbsps skimmed milk or apricot jam
1 biscuit
Syrup, whatever liquor you wish, grated coconut

Preparation:

  1. Peel the carrots, cut them in slices and cook them.
  2. Once they are soft strain and mash them. Add the sugar and cook for 5 minutes stirring continuously
  3. Remove from fire and add the skimmed milk or jam, stir well.
  4. Cut the biscuit in 3. Drunken it with syrup and fill with the paste. Cover and sprinkle over it with the coconut
