Carmel Flan
Ingredients 1 lt milk 6 eggs 450 gr sugar 2 vanilla biscuits
Preparation To prepare the caramel pour 200 gr of sugar and 3 tablespoons of water in a pot and let it boil until it forms a golden caramel texture.
Pour the caramel in the flan mold immediately and cover all sides with 3 mm. Let it cool.
Beat the eggs and 250 gr of sugar well until it forms a consistent creamy mixture.
Heat the milk with the vanilla biscuits cut it pieces, Once it boils add the egg and sugar mixture carefully and keep beating energetically. Strain and let it sit for 15 min.
Using a small ladle, take the foam and skim that is over the milk, to avoid deforming the flan once in the oven.
Pour the cream in the mold. Place the mold in a pan in the oven and fill it half way with boiling water. Place the in the oven at 160C for 30 min. Let it cool and keep in the fridge until it cools completely. Unmold in a dessert bowl.
