Caramel Shavings
Ingredients Vegetable oil Brown sugar Glazing sugar
Preparation
- Cover a baking tray with aluminum foil. Grease it with oil. Lift the lateral sides of the aluminum to avoid it spills. Sprinkle the aluminum with a slight layer of brown sugar and then with a little glazing sugar. The crust will only form where the sugar completely covers the aluminum.
- Place this in a hot grill. Remove the baking tray from the oven as soon as the sugar melts or it will burn. Allow it to cool and break off the caramel from the aluminum.
