Caramel Bun Recipe

 

Ingredients
30 grs yeast
250 ml milk
½ teaspoon salt
3 teaspoon sugar
Grated lemon peel
60 grs butter
1 egg
Warm milk

Caramel
100 grs sugar
2 teaspoons of water
3 drops of lemon juice
1 ½ cup of hot milk 40 grs butter
Glazed sugar

Dough Preparation

  1. Dissolve the yeast with warm milk and let it sit for 10 minutes.
  2. In a medium size bowl mix flour , salt , sugar ,grated  lemon  peel , butter, egg and the deluded yeast , mix all the ingredients gradually add the milk until obtaining  a soft dough , make little burns and  place them in   the  pan , let the bunds  rise for 1 hour , While preparing the caramel.

Caramel Preparation

  1. In a small pot melt sugar, lemon juice, and water and make a light caramel add the butter and gradually the milk let it cook until its turns golden brown.
  2. Add the caramel to the buns, baked for 35 minutes.  Let the buns cool down before serving.
