Candied Bavarois

  • For: 6-8 servings
  • Time: 60 minutes

Ingredients:
225 grs flour
1 egg
1 egg yolk
4 tbsps oil
50 grs sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp anis liquor
Oil

Preparation:

  1. Mix the baking powder with the flour and make a hole in the center and put the egg, the yolk, the sugar, the anis and the oil.
  2. Mix the flour with the ingredients in the center well until you get dough.
  3. Make a ball and let it rest for ½ hour in an oiled dish.
  4. Make 7 or 8 cm in length sticks and fry in medium heated oil for them to pop on the outside and cook well in the middle.
  5. Bathe them in sugar while they are still hot.
  6. You can store them in a can for a few days if previously placed on paper to drain the oil from the cookies.
