Fondant Recipe

Ingredients
1 egg white
2 tsps rose water
1 tbsp liquid glucose
450 grs powdered sugar and the necessary to sprinkle

Preparation

  1. Place the egg white, the glucose and the rose water in a bowl and beat well.
  2. Add the powdered sugar and continue beating with a wooden spoon until you get a homogeneous paste.
  3. Knead the paste with your fingers until you form a roll in the same bowl.
  4. Knead the dough on a surface sprinkled with powdered sugar until you get a soft paste.
  5. Store in a nylon bag.

Chocolate Fondant Recipe

Ingredients
1 kilo fondant
300 grs white chocolate
1 dab food coloring

Preparation

  1. Melt the chocolate in a double sauce pan.
  2. Place the fondant on top of the table and add the chocolate slowly while you knead it. It’s convenient to prepare this beforehand.
  3. Store in a nylon bag for it not to dry. At the moment of using it, knead again since it warms up with the hand heat.
  4. To give it color, take a portion of the paste and pour a couple dabs of food coloring, knead until you get a homogenous color. Add to the rest of the fondant and knead until the color is the same in all the fondant.
