Butterscotch and Coffee Sauce

 

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon of corn flour
3 tablespoons of soft brown sugar
280 ml of milk
1 tablespoon of instant ground coffee
28 gr. of salt-less butter

Preparation:
Mix the corn flour and the sugar in a small bowl and add in 3 tablespoons of milk and mix well until you obtain a fine paste. Let the rest of the coffee and milk and pour it over the corn flour mixture constantly mixing. Put it back in the pot and allow it to come to a boil while continually mixing. Take it off the heat, add in the butter and stir until has melted and is mixed in.

Serve hot with steamed pudding or ice cream.

Serves 4 – 6 people.
