Brownies
Ingredients 100 grams of bitter chocolate bar 125 grams of butter 150 grams of sugar 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar 1 pinch of salt 3 eggs 150 grams of flour 1 teaspoon of yeast 100 grams of chopped nuts For the baking dish: wax paper
- Preparation time: 30 minutes
- Baking time: 25 minutes
Preparation
- Chop the chocolate bar and melt it in a pot along with the butter over low heat while mixing constantly.
- Take the pot off the heat. Add in the sugar, the vanilla sugar and the salt. Allow the mixture to cool.
- Preheat the oven at 175 degrees Celsius.
- Mix the eggs with the cooled chocolate. Add in the flour, the yeast and the chopped nuts. Mix it all up until you obtain a uniform dough.
- Place the wax paper over the baking tray. Spread the dough over the paper on the baking tray. Place the baking tray on the lower part of the oven and allow it to bake for 25 minutes.
- Take the baking tray out of the oven and let it cool. Cut the brownies into nice size squares.
- If you are not going to serve the brownies out just yet, store them in a plastic Tupperware container.
