Brown Dessert

  • For: 6 to 8 servings
  • Time: 60 minutes

 

Ingredients:
1 kg chestnuts
1 kg sugar
2 deciliters water

Preparation:

  1. Cook the chestnuts in an express pot for 15 minutes.
  2. Peel them while hot and remove the second skin.
  3. Grind them.
  4. Make a syrup with water and sugar mixing it with the chestnut puree on fire, let it boil for 15 minutes stirring continuously.
  5. It can be served in small glass dishes decorating with skimmed milk.
