Bread Dessert Recipe
Ingredients: 5 cups of diced bread 200grs of sugar 50grms of salted butter ½ cup of muscatel wine 1tsp of powdered vanilla
Preparation: The bread must be from the day before. Cut in dice, place it in a tray for it to be well spread and cook in the oven until it is slightly toasted. Make a syrup with the sugar and ½ liter of water which should be a little thick. Pour a few drops into a cup of cold water, which should be solidified immediately, which means that the syrup is ready. Remove the syrup from the fire and add the salted butter. Stir well until the butter melts; add the wine, the vanilla stirring continuously and finally the bread.
Place this mix in a tray and can be served hot or cold.
