Brazilian Melon Ambrosia Recipe
Ingredients: 1 small melon 2 oranges 2 bananas ½ coconut 2 tbsps of sugar 1tbsp of lemon extract
Preparation: Cut the melon in half and remove the seeds. Cut the pulp in dice, there should be approximately 2 cups of melon pulp. The oranges and bananas are peeled and cut in slices and are mixed with the melon, the sugar and the lemon extract. Place the fruit in the melon peels or in a porcelain or glass container and are put into the fridge for at least 2 hours. Sprinkle the fresh and recently grated coconut at the moment of being served.
For this recipe it is important not to buy grated coconut but use a fresh coconut. before grating it, it is important that you remove the dark skin that covers the pulp.
