Biscuits with Skimmed Milk and Strawberries
- For: 6 servings
- Time: 75 minutes
Ingredients: 2 egg yolks and 3 egg whites 3 spoons flour 1 tsp baking powder 3 tbsps sugar Butter
Syrup ¼ liter water 100 ml rum 125 grs sugar
Preparation:
- Beat the egg whites till very stiff with a dab of salt.
- Add the sugar, the yolks and the flour mixed with baking powder slowly.
- Butter a round mold.
- Fill the mold with the batter and cook at a medium heated oven for 30 minutes.
- While the biscuit is being cooked, prepare the syrup.
- Mix all the ingredients in a thick pot.
- Boil for five minutes and remove from fire making sure it doesn’t get cold.
- When the biscuit is baked pour the hot syrup on top without removing from the mold.
- Once it is really soaked remove from mold.
- Decorate with strawberries and skimmed milk.
