Biscuits with Skimmed Milk and Strawberries

 

Biscuits with
Skimmed Milk and Strawberries

  • For: 6 servings
  • Time: 75 minutes

 

Ingredients:
2 egg yolks and 3 egg whites
3 spoons flour
1 tsp baking powder
3 tbsps sugar
Butter

Syrup
¼ liter water
100 ml rum
125 grs sugar

Preparation:

  1. Beat the egg whites till very stiff with a dab of salt.
  2. Add the sugar, the yolks and the flour mixed with baking powder slowly.
  3. Butter a round mold.
  4. Fill the mold with the batter and cook at a medium heated oven for 30 minutes.
  5. While the biscuit is being cooked, prepare the syrup.
  6. Mix all the ingredients in a thick pot.
  7. Boil for five minutes and remove from fire making sure it doesn’t get cold.
  8. When the biscuit is baked pour the hot syrup on top without removing from the mold.
  9. Once it is really soaked remove from mold.
  10. Decorate with strawberries and skimmed milk.
