Beef and Cashews Recipe

Ingredients 2 tablespoons vegetal oil ˝ kilo beef fillet, cut into fine strips 1 onion cut into eighths 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 red pepper cut into strips 1 green pepper cut into strips 1 teaspoon cornstarch, dissolved in ˝ cup (125 ml) of beef broth 1 teaspoon soy sauce 1 teaspoon scallop sauce 4 tablespoons sherry 60 grams cashews
Preparation
- Put 1 tablespoon of oil into a wok or a large frying pan. Fry the beef for 2-3 minutes. Take it out of the wok and set it aside.
- With what is left of the oil, fry the garlic for 3-4 minutes.
- Mix the dissolved cornstarch with the soy and scallop sauces, and the sherry. Pour the mix in the frying pan and cook for 2-3 minutes, turn up the heat and add the cashews. Serve immediately.
