Basic Vanilla Ice Cream Dessert Recipe
Ingredients of Dessert 6 egg yokes ¾ cup of sugar 1 cup of water 2 teaspoons vanilla 3 cups of thick whipped cream
Preparation of Dessert Recipe
- Whip the egg yokes till there spongy. Aside, in a pot place the sugar and water on fire, stirring till the sugar dissolves. Lower the flame and let it cook till it thickens. While you lightly whip the egg yokes slowly pour the syrup into them.
- To this mix add the vanilla and cream, mix and empty in a bowl. Place in the freezer till the edge begins to curdle. Again whip the mixture and return it to the freezer till the edge begins to curdle once more. Repeat this process two more times. Then freeze till the ice cream solidifies.
- Coffee Ice Cream: In place of vanilla, add 2 tablespoons of instant coffee dissolved in 2 tablespoons of warm water. Continue the steps of the basic recipe.
- Strawberry Ice Cream: Add 2 cups of mashed strawberry to the basic recipe. Continue the steps. If in place of the vanilla you use 2 teaspoons of Cointreau (Orange Liquor) you’ll get a delicious change.
- Coconut Ice Cream: Replace ½ cup of the cream with ½ cup of coconut cream and add ½ cup of grated coconut. And continue with basic recipe
