Apricot Tart Recipe

 

Ingredients
½ an amount of sweet crumble pie recipe (see crumble pie recipe)

Apricot Filling for tart
1¼ kg of canned apricots, drained and in slices
¼ of a cup of brown sugar
½ teaspoon of ground nutmeg
½ teaspoon of cinnamon

 

Preparation of tart recipe

  1. Filling: Mix together in a bowl the apricot, sugar nutmeg and cinnamon in a bowl.
  2. Empty the filling in greases mold (23 cm diameter). Roll on the dough for a couple of minutes, leaving it 3 millimeters thick; in the center of the dough make 4 cuts in a cross shape, of 10 cm length each one, make them cross each other in the center. Cover the filling with the dough and re-cut the edges, leaving it ½ cm wider than the mold. Bend the points away resulting form the cuts and make a wavy border around the mold using your fingers.
  3. Bake the tart for 20-30 minutes or until its cooked and turns brown.
