Apricot and Grapefruit Jam

 

Ingredients for 2 liters
900 grs. of apricot
1 kg. of sugar
1 grapefruit
  • Marinating time: 2 hrs. approx
  • Preparation time: 30 min. approx
  1. Wash and dry the apricots. Withdraw the seeds and chop the fruit up as small as possible.
  2. Mix the sugar and apricots together and let them marinate for 2hrs.
  3. Peel the grapefruit, withdraw the pulp and cut it up into small pieces. Squeeze out what ever is left of the grapefruit to take advantage of all he juice.
  4. Wash the crystals recipients with hot water, and let them drip dry.
  5. Mix the grapefruit juice and pulp with the apricot. Begin cook and stir the mixture. Once it begins to boil lower the fame and let it boil for 3-4min. Withdraw the foam that shows up in the surface.
