Apricot and Grapefruit Jam
Ingredients for 2 liters 900 grs. of apricot 1 kg. of sugar 1 grapefruit
- Marinating time: 2 hrs. approx
- Preparation time: 30 min. approx
- Wash and dry the apricots. Withdraw the seeds and chop the fruit up as small as possible.
- Mix the sugar and apricots together and let them marinate for 2hrs.
- Peel the grapefruit, withdraw the pulp and cut it up into small pieces. Squeeze out what ever is left of the grapefruit to take advantage of all he juice.
- Wash the crystals recipients with hot water, and let them drip dry.
- Mix the grapefruit juice and pulp with the apricot. Begin cook and stir the mixture. Once it begins to boil lower the fame and let it boil for 3-4min. Withdraw the foam that shows up in the surface.
- Fill the crystal recipients with the gooseberry jelly and close them immediately. The jelly will last for about 6 months in a fresh place.
