Apples in Natural Remedies

Curative properties 

Acidity: eat an apple with meals.

Aphonic, bronchitis, and intestinal problems: eat 1 kilogram a day or drink half a liter of juice recently squeezed.  If not, boil 15 minutes 2 to 3 apples with skin, cut in slices in a liter of water and drink.

Arthritis: eat 100g of apples with skin during the day.

Increase appetite: eat an apple before meals.

Lower blood pressure: eat three apples a day.

Cholesterol: eating two apples a day can help reduce cholesterol by 10%.  Likewise, you can drink the brew of the skin of two apples and one lemon in one third of a liter of water. Boil for 15 minutes in low temperature, remove and let cool.  Filter and drink before half an hour of being prepared for two weeks.

Diarrhea: eat a grated apple with yogurt.  If not, eat as an only meal for two days, between 500g and 1 kilogram of grated apples.

Digestive: specially helpful to digest rich foods in fat.  Eat an apple before meals.

Gastritis, gastric ulcers: eat between 500g and one and a half kilograms of grated apples, distributed in 5 meals.  Also recommended to eat as mash. 

Flu: specially when it’s persistent. Eat as an only meal, for two or three days, between 500g and one kilogram of apples a day.

Hemorrhoids: eat an apple or drink apple juice.

Laxative: eat between 1 to 3 apples on an empty stomach or at night.

Blood cleanliness: eat one apple every morning.  Also, once a week, eat one apple fasting and drink apple and beet juice.

Palpitations: make an apple mash with honey.

Rheumatism: eat a kilogram a day.  Also, apply a cataplasm of peeled and grated apples over affected area.  If not, you can boil for 15 minutes 2 to 3 apples with skin, cut in slices, in a liter of water and drink.

Sprains: apply a cataplasm of peeled and grated apples over the affected area.

Cough: drink the apple juice. 

Precaution
In case of pregnancy or nursing, do not follow any treatment without medical supervision. In big quantities, apples seeds can be toxic.
