Apple and Cranberry Pie Recipe

Ingredients
2 cups of flour
1 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon of grated lemon peel
180 grs of butter
2 egg yolks
3 teaspoons of water

Filling
400 grs of apples
½ cup of sugar
1 teaspoon of cornstarch
500 grs of berries

Preparation

  1. Beat with an electric, butter, sugar, flour, and egg beat until obtaining smooth dough.
  2. Refrigerate the dough for 1 hour before using.
  3. In a small pot cook apples, sugar and cornstarch in low fire for 3 minutes, gradually add the cranberries, remove from the fire and let it cool down.
  4. Pre heat oven at 180c butter pan with butter or oil, spread dough, over the butter pan, pour the sauce on the pie crust, cover the pie with left over dough.
  5. Bake pie for 40 minutes. Decorate pie glazed sugar.
