Ingredients:
2 kgs pumpkin
Sugar (the weight of the pumpkin pulp)
1 grated lemon
Cinnamon
Preparation:
- Cut the pumpkin in large pieces. Put the pieces to boil without the seeds or fibers covered with cold water for 1 hour.
- Separate the pulp from the peel, wash well with cold water.
- Wrap the pulp with a white cloth to strain it.
- Weigh it and put it to boil with its same weight in sugar with the lemon and cinnamon for 30 to 35 minutes.
- Put it in dessert bowls.
