Amaretto Jell-O

Amaretto Jell-O

Ingredients
150 grams of Jell-O powder
800 ml of boiling water
125 grams of forest fruits (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries etc.)
60 ml of Amaretto
Forest fruit for garnishing

Preparation

  1. A very simple fruit Jell-O can be transformed into a delicious dessert if a little of Amaretto is added to it (almond liqueur).
  2. Start off by dissolving the Jell-O in boiling water in a bowl. Then add in the forest fruits, lower the heat to a minimum and poach for one minute. Add in the Amaretto and stir.
  3. Pour the mixture into individual molds; try to serve out the forest fruit as uniformly as possible since they have a tendency to float up to the top (which is actually not excessively important since it is going to flipped over anyway). Put the Jell-O in the refrigerator.
  4. Right before serving the dessert, flip the molds over onto a serving dish and decorate the Jell-O with more forest fruit.

For 6 servings
