All Daisies Cake Recipe
Materials 3 cake made with squared molds #3 (22 cm), #4 (26 cm) and #6 (34 cm) 3 cardboard base with the same shapes as the cakes Wooden bases with a border 3 cm bigger than the 34 cm cake and 2 cm bigger than the 22 and 26 cm cakes 2 squared separating dishes with 4 columns 1 tray with legs 2 ½ recipes fondant or marzipan ½ kg of sweet condensed milk 1 recipe of pastry glue 1 recipe of royal glaze Green and yellow food coloring paste Decorating sleeve Filter tip #00, 10, 30 and of grass Design of the embroidery Butter paper Daisy cutters in 3 sizes Green wrapped wire Arabic glue White string the same thickness as the height of the base enough to border them 3 m of baby string
Flowers in pastry glue Make according to the pastry glue flower technique, 14 big daisies, 34 medium and 50 small ones, all a pale yellow color.
Place them on wires and form bouquets with them: 2 bouquets for the 34 cm cake with 3 big daisies, 6 medium and 6 small ones, and 4 ribbons for each one; 2 bouquets for the 26 cm cake with 2 big daisies, 4 medium and 4 small ones and 3 ribbons on each;1 central bouquet for the 22 cm cake, with 2 big daisies, 6 medium sand 6 small ones, and 3 ribbons. Store the rest of the daisies.
Shaping and decoration
- Glue the cakes on top of the cardboard bases and spread them with condensed milk.
- Extend the paste and wrap the cakes. Wrap the borders of the bases with the remaining paste. Place the string around the bases.
- Place the cakes. Trace the design of the embroidery in butter paper, expand it according to the size of each cake and transfer them to their places.
- Trace the daisies with yellow glaze and the leaves and the stems with green glaze, in very pale colors using filter tip #10. the rest of the embroidery is done with white glaze and filter tip #00.
- Make the lower ribbing of each cake in cord point with filter tip #30 and white glaze. Finally place the bouquets of daisies (1 to each side where the columns go of the lower cakes and the central one on the top cake), and some loose daisies on the sides of the bouquets and on the corners of the bases.
Note The cakes are placed in their places when at the reception area or where the cake will be displayed in their corresponding positions.
